WE’VE ALWAYS SEEN OUR CLIENTS AS PARTNERS IN FEEDING CHANGE.
The original Link2Feed system was developed in partnership with a food bank who believed that using technology to more effectively collect client data would increase food bank resources, demonstrate their value to donors and help them better understand the people they serve.
USING TECHNOLOGY TO FEED CHANGE
A cloud-base software was developed for the food bank so their agencies could complete client intake (registration) in a way that was both dignified for the client as well as efficient and easy for agency workers, many of whom were not comfortable using technology.
AND IT WORKED!
With the ability to do real-time, network-wide reporting for the first time, the food bank software has made a significant impact on the food bank from client care to strategic decision making.
Seeing the opportunity to have a similar impact on food banks around the world, the team decided to develop a version of the software that all food banks could use.
AND THUS, LINK2FEED WAS BORN
Throughout the years Link2Feed has evolved from a food bank database to a powerful tool for understanding hunger from a local, regional, national and international perspective. The software’s stunning reports allow you to understand, not only who you serve, but also how your services are making a sustainable difference for people in your community; what we call feeding change.
Link2Feed works closely with clients to make sure our food bank software evolves with the changing needs of the food banking industry and provides all users with a free version rollout of new features at least once each year.
We’re supported by a team of poverty and advocacy specialists to ensure the best data collection and reporting methodology has been incorporated into the system.
Link2Feed supports food banks around the world with our technology and we’ve helped execute network rollouts as large as 1,100 members.
