WHAT DOES FEEDING CHANGE MEAN TO YOU?

Feeding change is the cornerstone of the work we do at Link2Feed; it’s all about how food is the catalyst for changing someone’s life and how we can help food banks and their partners understand that relationship through data.

Through the food banks we work with, we’ve been able to experience what Feeding change means to them.

For example, Carrie Carlson from the Oregon Food Bank told us, “Feeding Change is… gathering current and accurate information about what and where the need is in our communities to provide the most informed foods and services possible.”

While Jennifer Mays from the North Texas Food Bank shared that, “Feeding Change is… ensuring we have the tools to serve seniors quickly and effectively. I love the seniors we serve and having the resources available to meet their needs is incredibly valuable.”

So we spent this year’s Agency Capacity Programs and Nutrition (ACPN) conference asking food bankers from across the country what “Feeding Change” means to them. We’ve shared some photos and quotes below in hopes that their answers will inspire you as much as they did us.

All food banks who participated were entered into a draw to win a $50 Starbucks gift card and we are so excited to announce Kam McKinzie from the Freestore Foodbank as our winner!
